When I go for a motorcycle ride on a long weekend, I like to stretch my legs and head somewhere far away. I enjoy riding with a hot spring destination in mind. But I don't believe riding a motorcycle always has to mean a long-distance trip. I think there is value in simply riding; taking a casual trip nearby, or riding while looking at familiar scenery.

Along the way, I stop by "kaffee elbe," a small and lovely cafe where I can enjoy German food, which is also the homeland of my motorcycle. The owner is a friendly person who also loves Germany, and it’s such a comfortable place that I wish I could go every week if it were closer.

Then, I stretch my legs and head for the Venus Line. I’ve seen what the scenery is like many times, so I already know it well. Even so, it’s a place I love and always want to visit. I especially love the summer scenery—stopping the bike to gaze at the beautiful mountains, then starting to ride again. It’s a healing time for me.
