Riding the SR500 on National Route 168
Heading south on National Route 168 toward Wakayama.
My destination was "Miruriina," a Western-style restaurant in Hongu, Tanabe City.
It’s a family-run establishment with a cozy, welcoming atmosphere and dishes that keep you coming back for more. The photo shows their signature baked curry.
I had been restoring an SR500 since last year and finally finished it, so I took it for a ride along this roughly 130km route to break it in.
In total, I covered about 350km that day.
On the way back, I headed straight west.
I stopped by the "Tateiwa Rock" near Shirasaki Ocean Park.
The quiet scenery created by the sea and the rocks is so soothing that it always makes me want to visit.
