Columbia

01

Traveling by motorcycle in Colombia is full of challenges.

We ride with the utmost caution, and occasionally when we come across a spectacular spot, we stop the bike and take in the view.

Tatacoa Desert

02

The Tatacoa Desert is one of the places I've always wanted to ride my bike.
What is called a "desert" is actually a dry tropical forest.
The unique landscape, formed by red and grey clay layers, valleys and cacti, makes you feel like you've landed on Mars.

I rode my motorcycle in a place that looked like Mars on a beautiful sunny day that was so hot it was almost too hot.
I couldn't be more excited.

The Tatacoa Desert is not all orange, there are also areas with grey soil, which is why it is called the Grey Desert.
When riding a motorcycle, it's fascinating to see the scenery change over the course of a few minutes.

Riding a bike teaches you about life.

While maintaining a good balance, he follows his instincts and takes on new challenges. There are difficult roads, but once he overcomes them, he is rewarded with an unbelievable view, and that experience becomes motivation for taking on new challenges.
It's not all about getting to your destination. Bikes teach you so many things!

Cauca Region

03.

The joy of running in places you never knew existed.

When I was a backpacker, I was impressed by seeing different parts of the world, but traveling by motorcycle is on a whole different level. You can see the real side of a country by going to places you can only get to by motorcycle and having experiences you can only have by motorcycle.

What surprised me about my bike trip in Colombia was that there were no paved roads! Without Gaerne's waterproof boots, we would have been in trouble as we rode through the mud and crossed rivers. Even our brand new boots were covered in mud within minutes of starting to ride.

Florian, Colombia, South America

04

While exploring Florian, Colombia, South America, they discovered Godzilla's cave.

Because my luggage is packed in a backpack made for adventure, I can ride my bike pretty recklessly without any problems, and it's great that I can just go exploring!
