Manabu Watanabe is aiming to become the first in JNCC history to win his seventh championship.
The final race with the record at stake was held on October 13, 2024, as the 8th JNCC Sand Volleyball Hakkenden.

The path to becoming a champion, father and son

At the NCC R-7 Echo Valley Tournament, Watanabe placed 1st in the AA2 class and 2nd overall.
His eldest son, Akito, also achieved excellent results, coming in 1st in the PeeWee class and 3rd overall.
