Main unit
The boots are made of a synthetic leather called microfiber, which has the texture of genuine leather, and feature Gaerne's traditional careful stitching and excellent manufacturing techniques for a high-quality finish. Microfiber is soft and does not require breaking in like genuine leather boots, so you can enjoy comfortable wear from the day you buy them.
The extensive shirring from the rear of the boot to the ankle improves mobility and allows for smooth stride work.
In addition, the Tough Gear Flat is equipped with a toe guard on the outside of the toe, which acts as a protector in case of contact with the road surface.
Interior
The interior is made of quick-drying polyester mesh, which prevents stuffiness in the summer and prevents discomfort when worn for long periods of time. Heat-moldable fiber is built into the heel and toe for complete protection.
Adjustable aluminum buckle
Equipped with an adjustable aluminum buckle, it allows for fine adjustment in 3mm increments on the strap side, as well as two-step 8mm adjustment on the lever side.
The buckle base also has screw holes that allow it to be adjusted in two stages (22mm movement), so you can adjust it perfectly to fit your feet.
Sole
The Gaerne original flat sole, designed specifically for road touring, ensures precise operation and reduces fatigue. The flexible and durable sole will allow you to enjoy it for a long time.
