Waterproof Polish

This is Gaerne's genuine waterproof cream for applying to genuine leather and synthetic leather (microfiber) boots.

The hard paraffin component keeps the boots highly waterproof while also replenishing oil to prevent them from drying out. Unlike animal oils, it does not soften the leather too much, so the boots will not lose their shape even with frequent maintenance.

Maintenance method

• Remove parts : Remove any detachable parts, such as buckles or laces.
• Remove all dirt : Use a brush to remove all mud from the boots. For stubborn stains, use a damp towel that has been wrung out tightly.
• Apply the waterproof polish : Apply a small amount with the included sponge. Start by applying just enough. If you feel like you haven't applied enough, apply more coats little by little. (For light-colored leather, the color may darken. In this case, apply a small amount with your fingers.)
• Finishing : To finish, polish with a soft cloth. At this time, wipe off any excess cream. Finally, reinstall the removed parts and the work is complete.

*Notes

Use on leather (superfine leather) or synthetic (microfiber) parts of boots. Avoid using on the following areas:

• Suede or nubuck leather linings (such as the suede on the Voyager or the inner lining of the G-Midleand)
• Plastic parts (such as the protective parts of MX boots)
• Rubber parts (sole, etc.)

*Due to the nature of the product, the polish will soften and leak when heated, so please do not store it tilted or lying down.
Also, depending on the shipping conditions, such as on extremely hot days, the product may turn into a liquid. In that case, store it in a cool, dark place and it will return to a solid state. Separation will not affect the quality.
