Waterproof Polish

This is Gaerne's genuine waterproofing cream for full-grain leather and synthetic leather (microfiber) boots.

The hard paraffin component provides high waterproofing to the boots, while also replenishing oils to prevent drying. Unlike animal-based oils, it does not over-soften the leather, so frequent maintenance will not cause the boots to lose their shape.

Maintenance Method

• Remove parts: Remove any detachable parts such as buckles and shoelaces.
• Clean off dirt: Use a brush to remove mud and dirt from the entire boot. For stubborn dirt, use a tightly wrung damp cloth to wipe it off.
• Apply waterproof polish: Apply a small amount using the included sponge. At this point, start by thinking, "Is this enough?" If you feel it's not enough, apply more in small layers. (For light-colored leather, the color may darken significantly. In that case, apply a small amount with your finger.)
• Finishing: Finish by polishing with a soft cloth. At this time, wipe off any excess cream as well. Finally, reattach the removed parts to complete the process.

※Precautions

Please use this product on the leather parts (outer leather) or synthetic leather parts (microfiber) of your boots. Please refrain from using it on the following parts:

• Suede or nubuck leather (e.g., suede on VOYAGER, inner part of G-MIDLAND)
• Plastic parts (e.g., protection parts of MX boots)
• Rubber parts (e.g., sole parts)

※Due to the nature of the product, if the temperature rises, the polish may soften and cause leakage, so please do not store it tilted or on its side.
Also, it may liquefy during shipping on very hot days. In such cases, it will return to a solid state if stored in a cool, dark place. Separation does not affect the quality.
