This is a masterpiece that has been loved and cultivated by many riders, from forest road touring to enduro.
Gaerne products are designed for riding, so the sizing is different from regular shoes. Each model also has a different last, sole shape, and sole manufacturing method, so the sizing varies. We have prepared a size chart based on the sole and last data for each model, so please use it to help you choose your size.

ED-PRO, based on the concept of "easy to walk in and easy to wear," is designed to maximize the inherent performance of leather by eliminating protection as much as possible. Utilizing Gaerne's know-how, the skills of skilled artisans are incorporated into the design and cutting of each part. The beautiful, smooth lines and superior comfort are the work of skilled craftsmen. Instead of a protective part in the heel, shirring (a processing method that sews fabric in pleats to give it elasticity) has been added to the ankle area, allowing for smooth movement.
The buckle base comes with three pre-installed mounting nuts. By removing the buckle and attaching the nuts to the two front buckles, you can expand the calf area. The optional extra-long straps can be used to further expand the range of extension.
In addition, by carefully examining the cutting lines of the parts that make up the calf area and increasing the overlap on the sides, we have been able to make ample adjustments so that the opening does not show on the outside.
The Vibram block sole is ED-PRO's signature. The advantage of this sole is its incredible grip, but the sole itself is also light, which contributes to the creation of nimble boots. The arch flex makes it ideal for walking.
The special interior "Interior Core" (TERMO ADESIVO・CONTRA FORTE), which was adopted in the ED-PRO art.402 and revolutionized off-road boots, has been further improved in fit by changing the thickness of the padding.
Instead of using resin parts as much as possible, we maximize the protection of genuine cowhide leather. We only use first-cut leather, which can only be obtained in limited quantities from a single cow.
Each product is handmade by artisans at the Gaerne factory in the Veneto region of Italy.
