Front Plate
The front plate features retro graphics, and adopts the Gaerne logo from that era. It is detachable, allowing you to swap it out for a design that suits your personal preference.

Full-Grain Leather
The upper material uses high-quality 3mm-thick leather, sewn one by one by craftsmen, fully infused with the techniques Gaerne has cultivated over many years and the spirit of "Made in Italy."
Protection
In addition to the front plate, protection is applied to key areas including a steel toe cap and ankle guards.
Buckles
Two buckles attached to the sides and a large Velcro strap on the calf provide a secure fit while making the boots easy to put on and take off.
Sole Construction
GMX MACH80 boots utilize the Norwegian welt construction method, commonly known as "Norvegiese," a traditional method from Northern Italy said to "last 100 years." A major benefit of the Norwegian construction is the extremely high rigidity of the sole. This method has been a hallmark passion of founder Mr. Gazzola since the inception of Gaerne, as it can only be achieved through true artisan craftsmanship. This is one of the reasons why Gaerne boots are still made in Italian factories to this day.

This is a handmade product, with each pair manufactured by craftsmen at the Gaerne factory in the Veneto region of Italy.
