From the moment you put your feet in, you'll feel exceptionally comfortable. The unique design features plastic blades on both sides of the ankle and a pivoting upper pocket that inserts into them. This allows for flexible, stress-free control of ankle movement and prevents twisting. The mesh interior and four straps ensure a perfect fit. The lightweight, light-welted sole is durable and offers excellent grip, providing exceptional maneuverability.
Gaerne products are designed for riding, so the sizing is different from regular shoes. Each model also has a different last, sole shape, and sole manufacturing method, so the sizing varies. We have prepared a size chart based on the sole and last data for each model, so please use it to help you choose your size.
GX-J size (equivalent to regular sneaker size)
23.5 (equivalent to 22.5cm)
24 (equivalent to 23.0cm)
24.5 (equivalent to 23.5cm to 24.0cm)
25 (equivalent to 24.5cm)
If the calf strap is too tight, you can use the G Adventure Extra Long Strap (sold separately) , although the head part has a slightly different shape.
The plastic blades on both sides of the ankle are inserted into the upper pocket, allowing vertical movement of the ankle while controlling lateral movement. This protects against sprains, fractures, and other injuries caused by twisting in the event of a fall or other accident.
The top two buckles can be adjusted by removing the screws to accommodate different calf widths and knee braces. The four straps are easy to open and close, creating the perfect fit. All straps and buckles are removable.
The lightweight resin and microfiber upper is highly abrasion-resistant and ensures optimal maneuverability. There's no need for "break-in," so you can enjoy a comfortable fit right from the day you buy it.
The inside of the boot is made of heat-resistant material, making it easy to grip and protecting your feet from heat.
The interior is covered with moisture-wicking mesh material, preventing stuffiness and keeping the inside of the boots comfortable even during intense riding. The toe and heel are reinforced with protective material, and the heel is equipped with soft shock-absorbing material to absorb impacts during long rides and jumps. The insole can be replaced to fit the shape of your foot.
The Light Welt sole builds on the characteristics of the Goodyear welt, providing a lighter weight, superior grip and outstanding maneuverability.
Each product is handmade by artisans at the Gaerne factory in the Veneto region of Italy.
