New Pantera "Neo Black"

It features Gaerne's latest technology, breathable microfiber material, waterproof and breathable Gore-Tex, and an ultra-rigid sole. In addition, it uses the latest buckle system "Type D" developed by Gaerne . This is the same buckle system as Gaerne's latest top-of-the-line MX boot "SG-22", and it has evolved to be sturdy and stylish while remaining lightweight. The strap base (base part) also uses a rivet system.

The coloring is all black, returning to the original concept of the Pantera's development. However, it's not just a solid black color; gray stitching creates a three-dimensional effect, resulting in a chic yet striking design. The sole is also a dark gray, giving it a sophisticated impression.

Combining functionality and design, the Neo Black is sure to enhance your riding enjoyment even further.


What is Pantera?

The Panthera, launched in Japan in 2021, is a waterproof riding boot designed for all weather conditions, jointly developed by GAERNE and JAPEX over a three-year period. From city riding to adventure riding, it supports riders' feet on and off the road.
The matte black upper and thick compound sole give a chic and sporty impression, making the design suitable for everyday use as well as on the bike.
The development concepts are: "Can be used in any situation," "Rigid to protect the feet," "Easy to put on and take off," "Waterproof and breathable," "Highly abrasion-resistant sole," and "Good foot grip."
It is packed with features that meet the rider's needs, pursuing safety and comfort. This is a product that Japex is proud of. Since its release, its design and functionality have been highly praised, and it has quickly become a best-selling product.

Recently, the machine that makes the soles of Panthera shoes has broken down, making it impossible to produce Panthera shoes.
Gaerne is currently developing a new sole and is working to deliver the Panthera equipped with it.

Gaerne products are designed for riding, so the sizing is different from regular shoes. Each model also has a different last, sole shape, and sole manufacturing method, so the sizing varies. We have prepared a size chart based on the sole and last data for each model, so please use it to help you choose your size.

Product details

Breathable Microfiber

The breathable properties of microfiber, an innovative evolution that has led to it being called breathable synthetic leather, combined with the highly waterproof GORE-TEX, keep the environment inside the shoe always good.
In addition, its excellent abrasion and cut resistance protects your feet in a wide range of riding environments.
The soft texture of microfiber makes it comfortable to wear right from the day you buy it, and unlike natural leather, it doesn't require any "break-in" period. It's a durable, sturdy material that requires little care.

GORE-TEX

The trusted GORE-TEX material combines waterproof durability, wind resistance, and breathability at an advanced level, keeping out water from the outside while allowing moisture to pass through from the inside, ensuring a comfortable environment inside the shoe.
Another attractive feature is its excellent durability as a material that maintains its performance for a long time.
To fully realize its potential, GORE-TEX is only permitted to be used in products that meet strict performance standards. In this product, combined with the excellent breathability of microfiber, it provides a dry and comfortable feeling at all times.

Buckle System

The buckle system allows for quick and easy locking and releasing, making it easy to put on and take off, and suitable for various riding styles, both on and off. The straps can be fine-tuned in 3mm increments.

Sole

The unique sole, developed to suit the Panthera concept, has a firm rigidity that protects your feet in the event of an accident. It is also highly resistant to wear.
The shape is wide and thick enough to provide a comfortable fit and stable foot placement.
The compound sole is flat on the inside and blocky on the outside, making it suitable for a variety of situations.

"従来より10%軽量化、と謳っていますが、体感的にはそれ以上に軽く感じます。 それでいて足全体をガッチリ固定する強度や安心感は変わらず さらにソールがかなり良いです 旧モデルはソールが固くて操作感はダイレクトに伝わるのは良いのですが、バイクを降りて歩く際に衝撃が直に伝わって疲れやすかったです 足音も大きかったですしね しかし、スカイはクッション性抜群で歩くのが楽、それでいて操作性は損なわれていない もちろん、ゴアテックスなので防水性もバッチリです 総じて旧モデルの不満点を全て解消し進化したモデルです"

履きやすい

"脱ぎ履ぎが楽で防水のショートブーツを探していました。これまではサイドジッパーの編み上げタイプをフィット感を上げるため紐をキツめに張って使っていましたが、狙い通りこちらの方が楽でフィット感も損ないません。 普段履きは27. 5で同サイズを買いましたが、27. 0も試してみたいくらい余裕があるように感じます。 注意ポイントはスポーツタイプのポジションだと脛への当たりが強めなこと。脛部分をガードできる長さの靴下をオススメします。"

"私は173cm 100kg 隼に乗っています。 発売日に27. 5cmを購入しこれまで数回使用しました。 サイズ感は、サイズ表を参考にすれば問題ないかと思います。調整はできてもかなりガッチリホールド感なので足首やふくらはぎのほうに重きを置いて0. 5upも有りかもしれません。 参考までに、私はぶよぶよデブというよりはガッチリ系デブの体です。エアフォース1なら27. 5cm。ジョーダンシリーズなら28cmを履いています。 ガエルネはGアスペン所有していてふくらはぎを考慮して28cmを履いてます。 スレなどにも強く、この猛暑の中履いても蒸れもさほど気になりません。 踵部分が思ったより厚めですがシフト操作も歩くのも問題なし！ 構造上細めの方じゃないとブーツインは難しいかも？ 手にとると写真以上に質感が良く、バックル部とブーツ+バッシュのようなフォルムがカッコいいです！ 安くはないですが購入して良かったです。"

一生このブーツ以外は買いません

"ガエルネはタフギアを4足、Gストーンを1足これまで使用してきました。日帰りのツールングや冬場で雨が降らないことがわかっていればタフギアで問題ありませんでした。しかし、春から秋にかけての２−４泊のツーリングでは、山間部で必ず雨が降るため、どうしても防水ブーツが必要でした。この度パンテーラスカイを入手し、早速東京から青森、北東北の２千キロを３日間で走り、タフギアに代わり満足できることを確認したため、他のブーツは全て処分することができました。新しいソールも軽量で、ビブラムソールより歩きやすく、BMW R1250GSのギザギザステップでも、ソールは全く傷つかず、また、フラットなソールであるため、シフトチェンジや、スタンディングポジションでも使いやすいことを確認できました。一足購入したばかりですが、ブラックをもう一足購入しようかと考えています。値段は決して安くありませんが、靴選びで迷子になっている人、間違いなくおすすめの逸品だと思います。"

"ガエルネはGローム、タフギア、GRTを所有してますが、念願のパンテーラを購入、前モデルを持っていないので比較は出来ませんが、デザイン、防水性能、プロテクション、シフト操作、脱ぎ履きのしやすさが見事に融合された機能美の逸品です。サイズ感はいわゆる欧米人足の私は、普段履き26. 5、同サイズで厚めの靴下を履いて、幅、長さはジャスト、甲の部分は余裕がある感じです。不満はほぼないですが、デメリットを挙げるとすれば、値段が高い、ゴアテックスとはいえ真夏は流石に蒸れ感はある。歩きやすくなったとはいえ、あくまでパンテーラは剛性が高いオートバイブーツです。歩きやすさを最重視する方は他のモデルをおすすめします。総じてどんなシチュエーションにも対応できて、カッコよくオートバイに乗りたいと思ってるあなたに強くおすすめします。"

"防水性能が高いライディングブーツを探していたところパンテーラネオブラックを見つけましたが品切れ入荷待ち状態。 入荷お知らせメールが届いたので即購入しました。 バックルは細かに調整できるので良いです。 以前のパンテーラはわかりませんがスカイは歩き易いです。 まだ雨降りに遭遇してないので防水性能はわかりませんが、定評のゴアテックスなので大丈夫だと思います。 エルゴプラスインソールも購入しましたが、外したところエルゴプラスインソールが標準装備みたいです。 商品説明に記載があると良かったです。"

ストラップが意図せず収縮します。非常に残念。

"愛用している「パンテーラ ゴアテックス」とサイズ感が同じで、10%の軽量化!ということで購入しました。デザイン・素材・軽量化には納得しているもののストラップ調整機能に大問題ありです。 「パンテーラ ゴアテックス」は、やや硬いものの、一度長さ調整するとしっかり保持されていましたが、「パンテーラ スカイ ゴアテックス ブラック」はバックルを外すとストラップの長さ調整部分が、ユルユルで保持力が非常に弱く、ストラップが意図せず収縮します。そのため、脱ぎ履きする度に4本全てのストラップの長さを再調整しなければなりません。バックルで固定している間は問題ないです。非常に残念です。"

価格なりだが改善が必要

"MTのバイクを購入したのでオールラウンドに使えるブーツとして購入しました。足型は先細りのタイプで、大きめサイズがおすすめです。（比べる対象により変わりますが、+0. 5cmほど） 剛性感は中くらいで程よい感じですが、歩くには少し硬いかもしれません。歩くとフラップ部分の縁が足首に当たって気になります。要改善ポイントです。もう一点、ストラップが調整式になっているのですが、この調整した位置が脱いだ時にすぐにズレてしまいます。これは機能的に欠陥と言って良いでしょう。 私は調整位置にマーキングを入れています。"
