Gaerne products are designed for riding, so the sizing is different from regular shoes. Each model also has a different last, sole shape, and sole manufacturing method, so the sizing varies. We have prepared a size chart based on the sole and last data for each model, so please use it to help you choose your size.

Ultra-lightweight aluminum buckle (Type D)

The new, lightweight aluminum buckles feature a new finish. The top buckle offers three positions for adjustment in addition to the standard strap adjustment. The front shin guards also offer two different positions for a better fit with different calf sizes and knee guards.

Excellent breathability

The SG-22's ventilation system combines large front air vents with 3D channels to expel moisture and disperse heat efficiently , keeping you comfortable even on long rides.

3D Main Body Toe Box

A lower toe box height improves flexibility for quicker, smoother shifting.

Newly designed Razorback and dual-stage pivot system

The newly designed Razorback makes the boot lighter. Gaerne's unique dual-stage pivot system features two limit switches to prevent hyperextension, hyperflexion, and excessive lateral movement of the ankle, enhancing rider safety.

High-grip rubber inserts

The inner part of the jacket that comes into contact with the bike is equipped with a special Grip Guard rubber , which provides increased protection and friction for a more direct feel.

Dual Density Sole

The combination of different density inserts improves grip and durability when stepping , while also providing cushioning when walking and comfort when off the bike.

Ergonomic ankle support

The geometry of the ankle pivot system has been redesigned to more closely match the natural movement of the ankle without sacrificing safety .

Memory foam inner

The interior uses memory foam to conform to your ankle for improved stability and comfort.

High-grade insole included

The insole is made of high-grade material , which helps to position the foot correctly. The heel area is made of shock-absorbing material, improving the fit.

Sole manufacturing method

When making boots, Gaerne pays particular attention to the sole manufacturing method. The sole manufacturing method not only greatly affects the comfort of the boots, but also makes a significant difference in the protection they provide. Gaerne's competition boots are made using the Norwegian method (commonly known as Norvegiese), a traditional Northern Italian manufacturing method that is said to last for 100 years. The major advantage of the Norwegian method is that the sole is extremely rigid. This manufacturing method has been a focus of Gaerne's founder, Mr. Gazzola, since the company's founding, and can only be made with the skills of a skilled artisan. This is one of the reasons why Gaerne boots are still made in Italian factories.

• The pivot screws on the frame are treated to prevent loosening, so please refrain from removing or tightening them yourself as this may result in damage to the frame and the screw head.
