The Gaerne SG-22 Gore-Tex Enduro is the latest enduro motocross boot, an evolution of the SG-12, which has been favored by top riders in off-road motorcycle racing for over a decade. In addition to the innovative technology of the conventional SG-22, it features waterproof and breathable Gore-Tex for comfort in all environments.

Gaerne products are designed for riding, so their sizing differs from general shoes. Also, each model has different lasts, sole shapes, and sole manufacturing methods, resulting in different sizing. We have prepared a size chart based on the sole and last data for each model, so please use it to help you choose your size.

Ultra-lightweight aluminum buckles (Type D)

Features new lightweight aluminum buckles with a new finish. The top buckle offers three-level position adjustment in addition to standard strap adjustment. Furthermore, the front shin guard also has two position adjustments to improve calf size and fit with knee guards.

Excellent breathability

The SG-22's ventilation system combines large front air vents and 3D channels to expel moisture and efficiently dissipate heat. This maintains comfortable wear even during long rides.

3D Main Body Toe Box

Lowering the height of the toe box improves flexibility, allowing for quicker and smoother shifting.

Newly designed Razorback and Dual Stage Pivot System

The newly designed Razorback lightens the boot. And Gaerne's unique Dual Stage Pivot System features two limit switches to prevent hyperextension, hyperflexion, and excessive lateral movement of the ankle, enhancing rider safety.

High-grip rubber insert

The inner part that comes into contact with the bike is equipped with special grip guard rubber. This enhances protection while increasing friction, providing a more direct feel.

Features waterproof and breathable Gore-Tex to keep your feet dry even during long rides.

Ergonomic Ankle Support

The geometry of the ankle pivot system has been redesigned to achieve a structure that is closer to the natural movement of the ankle without compromising safety.

Memory foam inner

The interior features memory foam that perfectly fits the ankle. This enhances stability and provides a comfortable fit.

High-grade insole pre-installed

The insole uses a high-grade insole to support proper foot positioning. The heel features shock-absorbing material for an improved fit.

Sole manufacturing method

What Gaerne is particularly particular about when making boots is the sole manufacturing method. The sole manufacturing method not only greatly changes the wearing comfort but also makes a remarkable difference in protection. Gaerne's competition boots adopt the traditional Northern Italian manufacturing method, Norwegian construction, also known as "Norvegiese," which is said to last "100 years." The great advantage of the Norwegian construction method is that the rigidity of the sole is extremely high. This manufacturing method is something that the founder, Mr. Gazzola, has been particular about since Gaerne was founded, and it can only be made with the skills of a craftsman. This is also why Gaerne boots are still made in factories in Italy.

Usage Precautions

• The pivot screws on the frame are treated with a threadlocker. Therefore, please refrain from loosening or tightening them yourself, as this may lead to damage to the frame or screw head.
• For frame replacement, please consult Gaerne's repair service, "J-Repair."
• Please be careful not to overtighten the buckle screws, as this may strip the screws or damage the buckles.
