Gaerne products are designed for riding, so the sizing differs from regular shoes. Furthermore, the last, sole shape, and sole construction vary by model, resulting in differences in fit. We have prepared a size chart based on the sole and last data of each model, so please use it to help you choose the right size.

Ultralight Aluminum Buckles (Type D)

Features lightweight aluminum buckles with a new finish. The top buckle offers 3-position adjustment in addition to standard strap adjustment. Furthermore, the front shin guard also has 2-position adjustment, improving fit for different calf sizes and compatibility with knee guards.

Excellent Breathability

The SG-22's ventilation system combines large front air vents with 3D channels to expel moisture and efficiently dissipate heat. This keeps the boots comfortable even during long rides.

3D Main Body Toe Box

By lowering the height of the toe box, flexibility is increased, allowing for faster and smoother shifting operations.

New Razorback Design and Dual-Stage Pivot System

The newly designed Razorback reduces the overall weight of the boot. Additionally, Gaerne's proprietary Dual-Stage Pivot System is equipped with two limit switches to prevent hyperextension, hyperflexion, and excessive lateral movement of the ankle, enhancing rider safety.

High-Grip Rubber Inserts

The inner portion that makes contact with the motorcycle is equipped with special Grip Guard rubber. This enhances protection while increasing friction for a more direct feel.

Equipped with Gore-Tex

Utilizes Gore-Tex, which is both waterproof and breathable, to keep your feet dry even during long rides.

Ergonomic Ankle Support

The geometry of the ankle pivot system has been redesigned to achieve a structure that closely mimics the natural movement of the ankle without compromising safety.

Memory Foam Interior

The interior features memory foam that provides a snug fit around the ankle, improving stability and providing a comfortable ride.

High-Grade Insole Included

Comes standard with a High-Grade Insole. It supports proper foot positioning and features shock-absorbing material in the heel for an improved fit.

Sole Construction

One of the aspects Gaerne is particularly committed to in boot manufacturing is the sole construction. The method used significantly affects not only the comfort but also the level of protection. Gaerne competition boots employ the traditional North Italian "Norwegian" construction, also known as the "Norvegiese" method, said to "last 100 years." A major advantage of the Norwegian construction is the extremely high rigidity of the sole. This method has been a hallmark of founder Mr. Gazzola since Gaerne's inception, and it is something that can only be achieved through true craftsmanship. This is one of the reasons why Gaerne boots are still manufactured in Italy today.

Usage Precautions

• The pivot screws on the frame are treated with thread locker; please refrain from removing or tightening them yourself, as this may lead to damage to the frame or the screw heads.
• For frame replacements and other services, please consult Gaerne's repair service, "J-Repair."
• Please note that tightening the buckle screws with excessive force can strip the threads or damage the buckles.
