The Gaerne SG-22 Gore-Tex Enduro is the latest motocross boot for enduro, evolving from the SG-12, which has been favored by top riders in off-road motorcycle competition for over a decade. In addition to the innovative technology of the conventional SG-22, it features Gore-Tex for excellent waterproofing and breathability, ensuring comfort in any environment.

Because Gaerne products are designed for riding, the sizing differs from standard shoes. Furthermore, the last, sole shape, and sole construction method vary by model, resulting in differences in fit. We have provided a size chart based on the sole and last data for each model to help you choose the right size.

Ultra-lightweight Aluminum Buckles (Type D)

Features lightweight aluminum buckles with a new finish. In addition to standard strap adjustments, the top buckle allows for 3-position adjustment. Furthermore, the front shin guard also offers 2-position adjustment, improving the fit for calf size and when wearing knee guards.

Excellent Breathability

The ventilation system of the SG-22 combines large front air vents with 3D channels to expel moisture and efficiently dissipate heat. This keeps the boots comfortable even during long rides.

3D Main Body Toebox

By lowering the height of the toebox, flexibility is improved, allowing for faster and smoother gear shifting.

New Laser-Back Design and Dual-Stage Pivot System

The newly designed Laser-Back makes the boot lighter. Additionally, Gaerne's unique Dual-Stage Pivot System is equipped with two limit switches that prevent hyperextension, hyperflexion, and excessive lateral movement of the ankle, enhancing rider safety.

High-Grip Rubber Inserts

The inner side that comes into contact with the motorcycle features special Grip Guard Rubber. This enhances protection while increasing friction, providing a more direct feel.

Gore-Tex Equipped

Uses Gore-Tex, which offers excellent waterproofing and breathability, to keep your feet dry during long rides.

Ergonomic Ankle Support

The geometry of the ankle pivot system has been redesigned to more closely match the natural movement of the ankle without compromising safety.

Memory Foam Inner

The interior uses memory foam that provides a snug fit around the ankle, improving stability and providing a comfortable fit.

High-Grade Insole Included

The boot comes standard with a High-Grade Insole. It supports the foot to ensure proper positioning. Shock-absorbing material is used in the heel area to improve the fit.

Sole Construction Method

A point Gaerne is particularly particular about in boot making is the sole construction method. The method used not only changes the comfort significantly but also makes a dramatic difference in protection. Gaerne competition boots employ the traditional Northern Italian method known as the Norwegian welt, or "Norvegiese." A major advantage of the Norwegian welt is its extremely high sole rigidity. This method is something founder Mr. Gazzola has been committed to since Gaerne's inception; it is something that can only be created by the skills of a master craftsman. This is also why Gaerne boots are still manufactured in Italy today.

Precautions for Use

• The pivot screws on the frame section are treated with thread locker; please refrain from removing or tightening them yourself, as this can lead to damage to the frame and screw heads.
• For frame replacement or similar issues, please consult the Gaerne repair service, "J-Repair."
• Please be aware that tightening buckle screws with excessive force can cause the screw threads to strip or the buckles to break.
