The Gaerne SG-22 Gore-Tex Enduro is the latest motocross boot designed for enduro, evolving from the SG-12 which has been favored by top riders in off-road motorcycle racing for over a decade. In addition to the innovative technology of the conventional SG-22, it features waterproof and breathable Gore-Tex, ensuring comfort in all environments.

Gaerne products are designed for riding, so their sizing differs from general footwear. Also, each model has different lasts, sole shapes, and sole manufacturing methods, resulting in different sizing. We have prepared a size chart based on the sole and last data of each model, so please use it to help you choose your size.

Ultralight Aluminum Buckle (Type D)

Features lightweight aluminum buckles with a new finish. The top buckle allows for 3 levels of position adjustment in addition to standard strap adjustment. Furthermore, the front shin guard also offers 2 types of position adjustment to improve fit for calf size and knee guards.

Excellent Ventilation

The SG-22's ventilation system combines a large front air vent with 3D channels to expel moisture and efficiently dissipate heat. This maintains comfortable wear even during long rides.

3D Main Body Toe Box

Lowering the height of the toe box improves flexibility, allowing for quicker and smoother shifting.

New Design Razorback and Dual Stage Pivot System

The newly designed Razorback reduces the boot's weight. And Gaerne's unique Dual Stage Pivot System, equipped with two limit switches, prevents hyperextension, hyperflexion, and excessive lateral movement of the ankle, enhancing rider safety.

High-Grip Rubber Insert

The inner part that contacts the bike features special grip guard rubber. This enhances protection while increasing friction for a more direct feel.

Gore-Tex Equipped

Equipped with waterproof and breathable Gore-Tex to keep feet dry during long rides.

Ergonomic Ankle Support

The geometry of the ankle pivot system has been redesigned to allow for more natural ankle movement without sacrificing safety.

Memory Foam Inner

The interior features memory foam for a snug fit around the ankle. This improves stability and provides comfortable wear.

High-Grade Insole Included as Standard

The insole uses a high-grade insole that helps position the foot correctly. The heel area features shock-absorbing material, improving the fit.

Sole Manufacturing Method

Gaerne is particularly particular about the sole manufacturing method when making boots. The sole manufacturing method greatly changes the wearing comfort and significantly impacts protection. Gaerne's racing boots adopt the traditional Northern Italian manufacturing method, Norwegian construction, also known as "Norvegiese," which is said to last "100 years." A major advantage of the Norwegian construction method is that the sole's rigidity is extremely high. This manufacturing method has been a focus for Gaerne founder Mr. Gazzola since the company's inception, and it is something that can only be made with the skills of a craftsman. This is also why Gaerne boots are still made in factories in Italy.

Precautions for Use

• The pivot screws on the frame part have an anti-loosening treatment. Do not attempt to remove or tighten them yourself, as this may lead to damage to the frame or screw head.
• For frame replacement or other repairs, please consult Gaerne repair service "Japex Repair."
• Be careful not to over-tighten the buckle screws, as this may strip the screws or damage the buckles.
