Handroid is racing hand armor that brings together Knox's glove technology, which has been making protection since 1981.
The Handroid's greatest feature is the exoskeleton system attached to each finger. The pipe-shaped parts, arranged like a skeleton, allow for smooth clutch and brake operation, and in the event of a fall, they absorb impact to reduce damage to the fingers and fists. On the palm side, the SPS system is used, which acts as a slider between the road surface and the hand during a fall, reducing pressure on not only the hand but also the arm and shoulder, preventing compression fractures and other injuries. This feature is also installed in other Knox gloves, but the Handroid's SPS is more robust and effective by incorporating MICRO-LOCK.
In actual racing, it's not enough for only the protective performance to be outstanding; operability is also important. While the exoskeleton system also improves operability, the use of the BOA system for wrist tightening allows the user to achieve the most comfortable tightening, which is deeply related to operability. It can evenly tighten the entire wrist, and when removing it, pulling the dial immediately loosens it, making it useful in terms of practicality.
Racing specs naturally demonstrate their effectiveness on the track, but items that protect the rider are also useful on public roads. In terms of style, the glove's design also sets it apart from other gloves. Enjoy sport riding with the highest level of specs on your hands.
The wrist cuff that protects the wrist was on both the inside and outside of the Mark 4, but in the Mark 5, it has been changed to a single, more useful outer surface, and the inclusion of MICRO-LOCK within the cuff has made it not only resistant to abrasion but also highly effective at absorbing impact.
Additionally, in the Mark 5, the BOA dial can now not only tighten but also loosen. Furthermore, the thumb length has been adjusted to be shorter than before, and a Velcro strap has been added to the wrist, resulting in a better fit and more comfortable feel.

This system is realized by two protectors in the palm area. In the event of a fall, the SPS acts as a "slider" to maintain the same speed as the rider even if the palm comes into contact with the road surface. This reduces pressure on the shoulder and arm, protecting against injuries such as compression fractures (International Patent Technology: EP1594378). Compared to previous models, MICRO-LOCK is built into the SPS, providing impact absorption. MICRO-LOCK is Knox's independently developed impact-absorbing material, characterized by being soft normally and hardening (locking) upon impact.
The BOA dial-type wire system is used for wrist tightening. You can make fine adjustments by simply pressing and turning the dial, and it allows for even tightening and loosening adjustments. When removing, simply pull the BOA dial for easy release.
The exoskeleton refers to the pipe-shaped parts arranged like a skeleton on each finger.
This is the maximum feature protection system of Handroid gloves. Exoskeleton literally means "external skeleton." These parts attached to each finger play a crucial role in absorbing impact in the event of an accident, mitigating damage to the fists and fingers, and reducing friction with the road surface. These pipe-shaped parts move flexibly, without hindering finger movement, achieving both operability and protection.
The grip area of the palm uses tear-resistant kangaroo leather.
The gauntlet at the cuff uses a slim, impact-resistant, and flexible polyethylene protector. By placing the protector only on the outside, operability is improved.
The protector incorporates MICRO-LOCK, which absorbs impact. MICRO-LOCK is Knox's unique impact-absorbing material, characterized by being soft normally and hardening (locking) upon impact.
The index finger, middle finger, and thumb are touchscreen compatible.
However, touch operations can only be performed with the pad of the finger (the part with fingerprints), as the tip of the glove is not designed for touch operation, making it unsuitable for those who want smooth operation.
