New SPS (Scaphoid Protection System)
This system consists of two protectors on the palm area. In the event of a fall, the SPS acts as a "slider" to keep the palm moving at the same speed as the rider upon road contact. This reduces pressure on the shoulders and arms, protecting the rider from injuries such as compression fractures (International Patent: EP1594378). Compared to previous models, MICRO-LOCK is now integrated into the SPS to absorb impact. MICRO-LOCK is an impact-absorbing material uniquely developed by KNOX, characterized by its softness in normal conditions and its ability to harden (LOCK) upon impact.
New BOA System
For fastening the wrist, we use the dial-operated "BOA" wire system. By simply pushing and turning the dial, you can make fine adjustments to both tightening and loosening, while ensuring an even fit. To remove the gloves, simply pull the BOA dial to release it instantly.
Floating Knuckles
By allowing the hard knuckle protectors on the knuckles to "float," the protectors do not hinder hand movement while gripping the handlebars or operating the brake and clutch, ensuring an excellent fit. Also, MICRO-LOCK is now integrated to provide superior impact absorption.
