The shoulders, elbows, and back are fitted with MICRO-LOCK COMPACT protectors, which are thinner and more flexible than conventional MICRO-LOCK protectors. This protective material is normally soft and conforms to the body, but upon impact, such as a fall, it hardens to protect the body from impact. Because it is flexible under normal conditions, it can be worn very naturally, without the bulky or loose feel that comes with other protective jackets.

[166cm/60kg/Male] Wearing size M
I was torn between the S and M sizes, but I chose the M because it was a little looser. It fits the same as a regular sweatshirt. It's stretchy, comfortable, and has a wide range of motion. However, the protector is quite heavy, so I chose the M because I wanted some room to move around.

[175cm/65kg/Male] Wearing size M
The M size was just right. The length and sleeves are made longer, so my back and sleeves don't show even when I'm leaning forward, and I was able to ride my bike comfortably.

MICRO-LOCK COMPACT Protector

Knox's proprietary MICRO-LOCK protector, a shock-absorbing material, has evolved further to become the MICRO-LOCK COMPACT. While retaining its original characteristics and level of protection—soft under impact and hardening (LOCKING) upon impact—MICRO-LOCK COMPACT now features a tough and durable honeycomb structure, is thinner (up to 60%), and offers significantly improved breathability. Additionally, the patented "Flex and Adapt" side slits allow the protector to conform to the body's contours effortlessly, eliminating any loose or bulky feel, for even greater comfort.

Special fabric "Shield Fabric"

It uses a special fabric that Knox has developed independently.
Combining ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene, which is highly resistant to abrasion and impact, polyurethane, which has excellent stretchability, and cotton, it is comfortable to wear and provides high levels of protection.

This product has been certified AAA in the CE standard (general riding category [EN17092]) durability test. AAA is the highest rating in the standard, indicating that it meets the abrasion resistance requirements at high speeds (120km/h).

Also, the protector must not be folded.
