Q. People often say the Urbane Pro is heavy. What do you think about this?
A. The reason it is heavy is because the back protector is larger than those of other companies. CE standards suggest that the area of protection only needs to cover from the back to the lower lumbar, but in the event of an accident, that is definitely not enough. You truly need coverage down to the tailbone. That's why the weight of the Urbane Pro is a testament to its safety.
Q. There are comments that people are confused about the sizing.
A. Please wear it as a snug fit. By doing so, the protectors on the elbows and shoulders won't rotate, which keeps you safe. Also, if there are wrinkles due to being too loose, it makes it harder for your skin to breathe. If there are gaps, heat will accumulate there, making it hotter. Actually, a snug fit is cooler. Plus, when the Urbane Pro becomes part of your body, you'll feel the weight less.
Q. Is the mesh as durable as the other parts?
A. In conclusion, it has sufficient strength against abrasion. Of course, compared to non-mesh parts, it is slightly inferior against direct impact. This is because CE standards have strict testing for impacts on the elbows, shoulders, and back, but the testing criteria are slightly lower for other areas. We use mesh only in those sections.
Q. I heard this is the best-selling KNOX product. Why is that?
A. This is not well known, but most accidents occur at speeds under 30 km/h, and they happen when you say, "I'm just going out for a bit." [166cm / 60kg / Male] Wearing size: S I wore size M for the Mark 2, but with the Mark 3, the protectors have become thinner, so my usual size S fits perfectly. Since it fits the body, it is now easier to move in.
[170cm / 87kg / Male] Wearing size: L My chest is 105cm and waist is 87-88cm. It fits the chest, but there is a little room around the torso. L is the best choice if you prioritize silhouette. It might feel tight if I add the optional chest pad.
[175cm / 67kg / Male] Wearing size: M The S size felt tight around the arms, and I thought long-duration riding would be difficult.
