I have very short legs, so I hope this helps any riders who share the same struggle.
I usually wear size 36 or 38 in pants (Uniqlo). I wear a 36 to match my leg length, but I opt for a 38 if I want a looser waist.
Regarding the size of the Jackson, it’s as easy to wear as you’d expect from PMJ thanks to the inner mesh. I was worried about my short, thick legs, but the fabric has plenty of stretch, making it easy to get on and off the bike and truly stress-free once I started riding. I even crouched down to set up a camera and forgot I was wearing jeans—that’s how stress-free they are to wear.
The elastic around the waist fits nicely, and I’ll say it again: these are truly stress-free. If you are a rider who thinks you can't wear PMJ pants because of your thick legs, this is the best pair I highly recommend.

We recommend choosing your PMJ size by comparing the dimensions in the size chart with a pair of jeans you already own.
The key is to select based on the waist width. If you intend to wear hip protectors, please choose one size larger. Also, since dimensions vary by model, please select based on the specific size chart for each product.

Staff Fitting Review

[170cm / 85kg / Male] Size worn: 36 inches
I have previously worn size 36 inches in PMJ's "Deus J Model" and "Dakar." Those fit snugly on the thighs, with a little room in the waist.
The "Jackson" has a generally roomy silhouette, and with the fabric's stretch, I get the impression I could even go one size down.
However, since the two models I already own have a good fit, I think I’ll keep the extra room and stay with this size.
For a Japanese build, the length is slightly long, but wearing them over boots creates a loose, well-balanced look.

A single-layer fabric construction that weaves denim thread with TWARON® stretch ballistic fiber. It combines high tensile strength and durability against abrasion and cuts with a lighter weight, better breathability, and improved stretch for a comfortable fit.

Safety Standards

This product is certified [AA] in CE standard (General Riding Category [EN17092]) durability tests. [AA] is the intermediate rank in the same standard, indicating that it meets abrasion resistance requirements for mid-speed riding (75km/h).

Protectors

Equipped with CE-certified (Protector Category [EN1621-1]) knee and hip protectors as standard. Knee protectors can be removed from the inside and adjusted vertically by about 8cm using Velcro. Hip protectors can be removed using Velcro.
