The Blizzard 2 Saddlebags are luggage designed to be mounted to the rear sides of off-road and adventure bikes without the need for frames or carriers. Completely redesigned from the previous model, they have evolved to be even more rugged, lightweight, and versatile. Even during aggressive off-road riding, the bags remain securely fastened to the bike, preventing shifting or detachment.

The standout feature is the innovative, patented "CRR Breakaway System (Crash-Replace-Ride On)." The CRR parts connecting the bag body to the front straps are designed to intentionally break during a crash; by detaching the front straps, the main body of the bag is protected from damage. You can replace the broken component with the included spare CRR part without tools, allowing you to resume your ride immediately.

The tear-resistant 3-layer specialized fabric has further improved tear and abrasion resistance, utilizing a new material that is both lighter and more environmentally friendly. Of course, the waterproof, dustproof, mudproof, and snowproof functionality—a standard for all Enduristan products—remains intact.

The patented ESI (Enduristan Standard Interface) expansion system is integrated into a total of seven locations: the connection point between the left and right bags, and on the bag bodies themselves. You can freely attach expansion bags compatible with the ESI system to adjust your storage capacity to suit your needs as a rider.

Potential Drawbacks:

• Unlike pannier cases, the bags do not have an internal frame, so the shape of the contents may show on the surface depending on how they are packed.
• In the event of a fall, direct impact force is applied to the contents.
• Depending on the bike model, the bags may come into contact with the muffler (this can be solved by using a separately sold Heat Shield).

CRASH – REPLACE – RIDE ON!

The impact from an off-road fall can reach forces of several hundred kilograms, making it technically difficult to keep bags or bikes entirely damage-free, regardless of how robustly they are built.
Furthermore, should a bag become damaged during a crash, repairing it in the field is difficult and the waterproof integrity is often compromised.
Therefore, the Blizzard 2 Saddlebags take a different approach with the integrated CRR Breakaway System. When a force exceeding 200kg is applied during a fall, the CRR parts connecting the main bag to the forward straps intentionally break. By detaching the straps, the bag body is protected from damage.
After a fall, you can get back on the road simply by threading the spare parts provided through the forward straps. Each Blizzard 2 Saddlebag set comes with a total of two spare CRR parts.

Industry-Leading Abrasion Resistance

The 3-layer specialized fabric used in the Blizzard 2 Saddlebags boasts tear and abrasion resistance that significantly surpasses both previous models and competitor products. In Enduristan’s internal tests, the material recorded 22% higher abrasion resistance than the best material among competitors.

Moreover, this material is PVC-free. While highly durable, it is lightweight, environmentally friendly, and does not produce hazardous substances when disposed of. The Blizzard 2 Saddlebags are lightweight and sturdy while reducing environmental impact.

Flexible and Secure Mounting

There are two ways to mount the Blizzard 2 Saddlebags. The first is the traditional strap method, and the second is the new "Anchor Lock System." The "Anchor Lock System" involves bolting small aluminum anchors to the motorcycle, allowing the bags to be attached easily. The anchors are compactly designed so they do not get in the way when the bags are removed.

The bag width adjustment has also been improved, making installation and adjustment easier than ever, and they can even be installed under pillion grips without issue. They fit any seat width and remain securely fixed, even during off-road riding.

Expandable Modular Design

The left and right bags are equipped with the ESI (Enduristan Standard Interface) expansion system in three locations: on the flap protecting the roll-top, the front, and the rear, as well as on the seat connector strap. You can freely attach expansion bags wherever needed to adjust your total storage capacity.

The seat interface is extremely thin, so it does not get in the way if you need to shift your weight back or ride in a position where you are over the rear seat. If no additional bags are attached, tandem riding is also possible.
The outside of the flap protecting the roll-top is equipped with the ESI system, while the inside features a zippered pocket on one side (convenient for documents and small items) and an elastic band on the other (perfect for items you need to access quickly, like spare gloves or a rain jacket).

What is ESI (Enduristan Standard Interface)?

ESI is a new expansion system adopted by Enduristan.

By adding compatible expansion bags or bottle holders, you can build a luggage configuration suited to your specific trip style or purpose.

You can place tools in easily accessible spots or add small items you use frequently within reach.

The feature allows you to gradually grow your setup into a customized system as you find what works for you.

Because the interface is standardized across compatible products, you are not just using a bag; you are building an entire luggage system for your travels.
